Assignment: Take the “back-of-the-bag” Toll House cookie recipe and write it in two different ways modeled after cookbooks, food magazines, food writers, or food blogs. I took the assignment a step further and also formatted the recipes to capture the look and feel of the respective publications.
The PDF contains a fictional Cooks Illustrated version of the recipe and a version that might have been written by M.F.K. Fisher. The Fisher version was formatted to resemble the pages of the 50th Anniversary Edition of The Art of Eating, which was published in 2004 by Wiley Publishing, Inc.
